The Bantry

On the northern bank of the Ashaba river is the disorganized district known as the Bantry. Separated from the heart of the city by the river the Bantry is a place of impolite industry; smoke, strong odors and butchery. Most of the tradesmen of the Bantry live in nearby Northbank. The Bantry rarely trades directly with merchant ships passing through, but is a destination for raw materials. While some finished products are produced at the Bantry such as horseshoes, nails, and some leather products, most of the produce is shipped to Downtown Driftriver for further processing.
