Draken Orrinin were the primordial race of lizard-like creatures that were said to roam the lands in the Age of Making, where the rivers formed beneath their tails, and lakes where they slept. It is said that the tallest mountains lie on the backs of these great creatures as they slumber, and that one day, they shall rise from underneath, and forge the world anew again.
Very little is actually known about their form, although the prevailing theory points to a simple (if gargantuan) four-legged, scaled creature that primarily lived in the great oceans. Some theorize that they were winged, but most disagree with this interpretation and point out that if they were winged, surely rivers would sometimes just end.
