Mini Backstory

• 1-11 Years Old: She grows up in Sin City and quickly learns how to survive the literal hell that it could be.
• 14 Years Old: Starts the Golden Hand Gangsters.
• 26 Years Old: She and Jade have Callahan, but Jade didn’t end up wanting to have any kids but he tried for a short time for Mari. But after a while it just became too much for him and he told Mari that he couldn’t do this anymore. He then simply gave her a choice. Either he could leave her and disappear back into his life as a stripper, or she could leave with Callahan and Jade would take over the gangsters in her stead. She chose to leave.
• 32 Years Old: Mari sews Abi for failing to keep her son Callahan from killing the pink bunny that she bought him for his birthday.
• 46 Years Old: Maris is found in the city square shouting for her lost son Callahan. She is later taken to the Ruby Hearth Nursing Home and the doctors confirm that Mari has early stage dementia.

Physical Description

A short, five nine tiefling woman with wrinkled yellowish pale skin, light blue eyes, brushed gray hair tied back into a bun, and above her eyes are two small horns. She wears blue crystal earrings and a simple blue and yellow flowing shirt. Her once joyace and mischievous smile has now seemingly been replaced with a distant or almost even reluctant expression, like she isn’t quite sure who she is or how she got here but is trying desperately to make the most of it.

Plot Hooks

• Abi, the woman who failed to protect the pink bunny from Callahan, has been working at the Ruby Hearth Nursing Home and is slipping Mari a weekly dose of Orabakis which has been modifying her memories, and increasing the devastating effects of Mari Dementia. If this stops then Mari can actually get better, but she will never be the same again, barring a wish.
• If Abi is about to be discovered or if Callahan resolves himself of his debt, she will inject Mari with a special blend of the Malious Stimulant. This will turn her into an enormous monstrous pink bunny monster, if she is saved from the initial transformation then she will live with this affliction for the rest of her life, similar to Ezio. She is able to do all of this because she has offered her body to The Quinticent as a test subject.
• Mari Knows that Jade is running the Golden Hand Gangsters and is able to tell Callahan if she so chooses.
• If Mari truly gets better than she will want to sing with Callahan at The Jaded Merigold.
