Civil Concordance of Aligned Systems

The Civil Concordance of Aligned Systems (CCAS) - commonly "The Concordance," is a federation of allied worlds devoted to reciprocal trade and defense. The Concordance is one of the major powers of the galaxy, and the most direct counter to The Union.
Founded and controlled by the AI entity the Ultra Magi, the Concordance works to protect its member states and ensure mutual prosperity. While individual societies maintain their own sovereign status and customs, they operate as part of a theocracy, sending representatives determined to be the most capable within their disciplines. However, the Magi acts as head-of-state and final authority.
The Department of Allied Militaries (DAM) is the armed division of the Concordance, supported by member states with soldiers, equipment, and funding. The DAM provides defense for all parts of the Concordance, combating piracy, organized crime, and attacks from non-aligned worlds.
