Azznik Ethoria is an illithid who was left for dead by the hive-mind that he came from. However, he was found by a group of goblins who were able to heal his wounds and welcomed him to their group. He began to learn magic from the tribe's shaman, but once there was no more that the shaman could teach him, Azznik ventured out into the rest of the world on a search for more knowledge.
