Wrath Wildfire

A-26 (a.k.a. Wrath Wildfire)

"Wrath Wildfire", a fire genasi previously known as Subject A-26, is a former experiment of Dr. Cain Temple. A-26 was acquired by the Æther foundation as a young child, still in infancy, and spent a large amount of his childhood in the foundation, up until he was 8 years old, when he was able to escape. At the time of escape, A-26 was being tested upon to discover if it were possible to separate the elemental spirit of a genasi from the body itself. Tests had been conducted to determine if A-26's mental state was well enough to perform these experiments, and though the subject had not passed, Dr. Temple elected to perform the tests anyways, as the other genasi at the institution a) did not have the physical capacity to withstand the test, and b) were all acting in line, while A-26 was not. A-26 was placed in a small chamber designed to apply as much pain as possible without killing the subject inside. After an unknown amount of time in the chamber, A-26's body atrophied, and an elemental spirit separated from the subject's body, a raw fire elemental. This elemental, however, began to attack the foundation, leading A-26 to an exit, though the body itself was barely conscious. In the events following, Professor Luthor Irongrip was sent after the subject to see if he could retrieve him. Irongrip was able to corner the subject, but was caught off guard by a wave of elemental magic, burning half of his face and allowing the subject to run and jump off of a cliff. Luthor believed the fall to have been fatal to the subject, and so reported back to Dr. Temple. A-26, however, had landed in a small stream that had broken his fall enough to leave him only slightly injured, as he began to be pulled down the mountain by the water's current. He eventually lost consciousness, only coming to on the deck of a boat surrounded by... circus performers? A-26 had been picked up out of the water by a ship carrying Beezos Bumblebloom's Travelling Circus. On this boat, A-26 realised that he still needed food and shelter, and was able to recieve such with the circus if he became a performer. He agreed, becoming Wrath Wildfire. A few years later, in 1976, another person joined the circus, this one being a changeling named Shaco. Shaco and Wrath became close friends through the circus, and eventually had decided to go out on their own, where they joined with an adventuring group of... questionable intelligence and morality - a perfect group for the duo.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Wrath is not particularly physically strong, though he does have a bit of a pain tolerance from the experiments at the Foundation. His magic more than makes up for his lack of physical strength, however.

Body Features

Wrath is 5'8", with dark red skin and flames instead of hair. He has sharper features and pointed ears, and his eyes are fire yellow.

Mental characteristics

Education

The majority of Wrath's education occurred at the Foundation, which was a bit of a biased and incomplete system that Wrath was only there for 8 years of. He was additionally taught it bit of magic by Beezos Bumblebloom, although his implementation of this magic is somewhat different than intended. Most of the magic that Wrath knows either comes from this knowledge from the Foundation, or has been self-taught.

Employment

The main career that Wrath has had is his career in the circus, and even after leaving it, he still occasionally makes money through performing alongside Shaco, usually to secure food and rooms at an inn. More recently, however, Wrath has begun adventuring, having joined a group and begun taking various jobs and quests in exchange for money.

Mental Trauma

Because of his time spent at the Foundation, and specifically the events of his escape, Wrath is not the most mentally stable. He experiences regular nightmares, so much so that it has affected his nightly routine. He does not like to talk about his past, and even Shaco knows as little about Wrath's background as Wrath can get away with.

Subject A-26 was acquired in the year 1964. It was one of four fire genasi subjects that were acquired in its generation. Its mental state seemed promising. As the subject grew at the institution, certain defects in its personality began to show, and thus Dr. Temple's plans for the subject were accelerated to take place when the subject was approximately 8 years old. It is unknown whether this early conducting of more strenuous experiments on the subject was the cause of the subject's eventual outburst, or if that was solely a reflection of the subject's fragile mental strength. Whether or not this was avoidable is unclear. Regardless, the subject was able to successfully summon its elemental from itself, but in doing so, began to behave erroneously, lashing out at the foundation staff. Professor Irongrip was injured in his noble attempt to protect the foundation from the anomaly and retrieve the deviant subject. The deviant was, however, able to escape. The deviant has been labeled as a level 3 threat to the foundation.
"You only have so many counterspells, Wrath." "You only have so many hit points, Shaco." "Yeah, well I con go invisible." "Oh yeah? Well I can nuke you!" "Well I can just not take damage. For free."

Ok, ok, I'm starting this stupid Journal, Remember Mr Beezo's if you decided to take a sneaky read through this that was your decision and not mine.   Besides I'm only doing this because Shaco went out and decided to prank the local guards... again... and yes I know I should not have gone and broken him out, but i wasn't going to leave him in there. Still having us write these journals, so you know what we're doing isn't going to work for shaco at least, the most that book may be used for is a list of dumb puns he can make.
