Relmunti

Bronze Epoch Kingdom

Structure

Centered around the city of Pelikur, Relmuna kings do not come from a single dynasty, but rather a score and a half of powerful families that succeed to the throne in a set order. When the king dies, his successor is chosen from the pool of eligible males in the next family. There were once dozens such families all sharing the Tin Palace, but their numbers have dwindled as a result of infighting between them. Most of those that remain are mere pawns of the three most powerful, who manipulate the others when it is not time for one of their own to take the crown.

Assets

A blessing of natural deposits and extensive trade routes have granted Relmunti the largest supply of tin in the known world. It is kept in secret vaults by the monarchs and adorns the numerous doors of the Tin Palace in Pelikur. They are known for their extensive trade networks that link east and west, providing the lion's share of tin their contemporaries desperately seek to acquire more of. The supply of tin comes from both their own mines and those further to the east.

History

An ancient kingdom that developed parallel to that of the Kalu.

Territories

To the east of the Azimon, past the Sekarnu Mountains, lies Relmunti.

Military

The Relmunti have also garnered reputation as skilled warriors, especially important considering the constant need to defend their advantageous position from the fierce nomadic tribes that seek to raid their lands. More often than not, the Relmunti emerge victorious in these wars, for they have a professional chariot corps that non-settled peoples couldn't hope to match.

Foreign Relations

Avid trading partners and allies of Kalumak and the other Azimon kingdoms. They frequently war with nomadic mountain tribes to attempt to either steal from them or settle within their lands.
