The Azimun
River
One of the largest rivers in the world. The Azimun was where civilization was first believed to arise thousands of years ago. Since then, hundreds of generations have called its banks home. Countless men and horses have died in the countless wards for the gain and glory of kings. This great giver of life arises in many places among the foothills of the Sekarnu Mountains and flow toward the sea, watering several great civilizations along the way.
Fauna & Flora
Numerous species of fish are found in its waters. Populations of lions, leopards, ostriches, wild cattle, wild boar, gazelles, and vultures call the land around the river home. They were plentiful before human habitation, but have since declined due to over-hunting and the loss of habitat to agriculture.
Natural Resources
The alluvial plains created by flooding grants the people living along the river fertile farmland with which to grow all kinds of crops and mud to create bricks that make up every house, temple, wall, and palace.
