Death & the Afterlife

At the moment of death, the character's spirit will find itself outside of The Dissolution Gate in The Timeless Hollow. Here, the goddess Erotl sits in judgement over the newly deceased; undertaking her eternal task of weighing the spiritual truth in a mortal spirit. She then sentences the spirit to the length of time that they are required to travel. The end of thier journey depends on the spirit. Most are sent to The Desolate Hollow to be placed in their afterlife. Some return and are reincarnated.
