Basic Information

Anatomy

When fully mature these plants will grow up too 200 feet in height and the stalks will be 5 to 10 feet in diameter.  Each of the leaves on average are 400 sq feet. Finally the seeds or fruit of the plant will grow up to about 16 by 10 inches.

These massive plants are highly sought after even cultivated due to their value. Starting at the bottom the stalk is comprised of the hardwood exterior and the lightweight pith core. The massive serrated edge leaves give shade from the twin suns as well as a nutritious alternative to grass. As you get to the top you have the seeds of the flower.
