Demographics
There is a mix of races that live in the city however humans make up the majority of citizens. Most of the population lives a modest life employed by the Great Tree Lumber Company. or by providing goods and services to those employed by the Mill.
Government
A mayor appointed by the Throne oversees the city. The mayor is the one overall in charge of the city. The captain of the guard and the local bureaucrats report back to the mayor. The city collects a hefty excise tax on exports. They also have a property tax to keep the city's coffers filled. Law in Timber Watch is punitive, and those who break the law can expect hard labor, incarceration, or sometimes public execution. Crime is unacceptable here.
Defences
The city is surrounded by a twenty foot tall heavy wooden wall. There is a guard tower every 100 feet along the wall. As well there is the town guard the Regiment of the Ax.
Industry & Trade
The main industry in this city is logging. Thanks to the tremendous amount of lumber in the territory and being right on Green Lake made this area perfect to harvest the lumber from the forest nearby. There are five different sawmills in the city that prepare lumber for transport to their final destination. The forests of the region have many different species of hardwood trees even some exotic ones.
Infrastructure
When it comes to the city's infrastructure, the townsfolk are pretty well off. Some of the amenities available are running water, an adequate sewer system, paved roads, as well as a small harbor.

Tourism
The city was already set up for high services offered because of the relationship between the lumber workers and the city. They take advantage of this fact and have several Large Inns, eateries, and shops. There is even one Inn that is a bunch of tree houses that the guests rent. The townsfolk enjoy tourists and visitors. They even offer day boat rides and forest tours. One favorite destination near the city is a natural bridge of dirt that goes over a wide area of reed thicket marshes. The wind slowly sways the cattails and tall grasses as squishing sounds and croaks can be heard from either side of the bridge.
Geography
The city sits out along a massive penesela jetting out into Green Lake Surrounded on three sides by thick lush forests and the lake on the third.
Natural Resources
Besides the plethora of trees, the hunting and fishing in this area is excellent. The land is also quite fertile if cleared of trees making for nice small farms.
