Introduction

Six months have passed since the event known as The Calamity  occurred and rocked the very world to its core. The details are still covered in a heavy layer of ash and mystery but a handful of facts are known: a great battle was waged in the mountains that stretch across the continent of Ioa's center resulting in the near total destruction of the Vidlunya, capital city of the dwarven kingdom of Slibro  and collapsing the tunnels that connect their cities and mines. Elven warriors from the kingdom of Delyn Wyn  fought valiantly in the fray and fell in great numbers. In the end the battle was won by four great heroes, but that is a tale for another time.
