Dayaniklilik (Die-an-ick-lil-lick / Day-an-ick-lee-lick)

(a.k.a. Dayanıklılık)

Dayaniklilik is the god of survivalism, bushcraft, and hunting. He was particularly worshipped amongst nature-loving hermits, some sects of druids, barbarians, and lizardfolk - who considered Dayaniklilik as their patron deity, referring to him as 'The Head of the Hunt'.

Description

Most depictions of Dayaniklilik show him as a strong and healthy man wearing armour fashioned from animal hides and leather and weilding simply crafted tools such as slings, bone clubs, stone axes, or boomerangs. He was viewed as a somewhat uncaring god, although not in a malicious fashion. This was particularly true amongst his lizardfolk followers.

Religion

Dayaniklilik is most frequently worshipped by rangers, hunters, scouts, lizardfolk, and some hermits. He is often prayed to before going on hunts or whilst lost or trapped in the natural world.   He was soometimes confused for Hayvan due to their shared interest in the wilderness and nature, although Dayaniklilik's focus was on using nature to build on one's survival as opposed to a broader, animilistic representation of nature. Similarly, Gezgin was sometimes viewed as similar to Dayaniklilik for their shared interest in the habitation of nature, although Gezgin focused more on the 'civilising' of the natural world whereas Dayaniklilik's domain included those who wished to survive and coexist with nature.
