Gezgin

Gezgin was the deity of travel, exploration, and the frontier. In particular, he was worshipped as the symbol of exploring the edges of the map and bringing them into the 'civilised' world.

Description

Gezgin was most commonly portrayed as a male explorer with weathered skin, kind eyes, a walking staff, and leather armour with a large cloak full of pockets. He was usually portrayed with somewhat wild red hair, although this was nowhere near universal.

Religion

Gezgin is worshipped as part of the Prosperous Voyagers. His primary followers are explorers, frontier settlers, and adventurers.
Gezgin is frequently prayed to when establishing new settlements on the fringes of society, as well as before travelling through dangerous regions.
Taking place on the 1st of Blossoming, the joyous celebration symbolizes renewal and new life. Some cities/nations have a lest formalised date of the celebration, instead celebrating it on the first full moon of the month.
