Eve

Eve is the goddess of community, home, and the hearth. She represents everything good about communities and society, and watches over villages and homes.

Description

Eve is traditionally depicted as a humanoid commoner, often times a human or halfling. She is usually represented as a woman of around 50 - 60+ (human) years old.

Religion

Eve is worshipped as a goddess as part of the Harmonious Covenant. She is primarily seen as the one who gathers the community, taking on a motherly/grandmotherly role for the community.
Eve's blessing is often sought in civil ceremonies such as marriages or coronations. When a new building is constructed, a prayer to Eve is usually inscribed somewhere in the building.
The holiday of Feastgiving on the 9th of Waning is an occasion for communal feasting for her worshippers, and is usually adhered to even by non-followers in civilised realms, especially by halflings and human. In the Northern Knot, Feastgiving is the traditional day for the election of new Cords for cities and new speakers for local towns.
