(a.k.a. Şenlik)
Senlik was the deity of cooking, brewery, and feasting. Through this, he was associated with drinking songs and taverns.
Description
Senlik was was portrayed as a somewhat portly man with glistening eyes, and thick hair and beard that obscured most of his face. He was also viewed by some to be somewhat of a prankster and joker, playing mild and well-spirited pranks on his friends.
Religion
The followers of Senlik only rarely established temples, as most of them lacked the inclination or fortitude to work that hard. They instead typically established small shrines in places of revelry, such as taverns, or in places of wild beauty. He was a part of the
Circle of Passion, with his aspect of being a bringer of drink and feasting emphasised.
Prayers to Senlik were, in short, drinking songs; they were often chanted or sung, and many had simple rhyming schemes and frequent, repetitive choruses. His rituals were abundant with food and drink.
