The Tarrasque

The Tarrasque is the Primal God Beast of the land. It is usually depicted and described as a gargantuan beast, both scaled and furred. It is often shown with elements of the natural world on its body, such as trees sprouting from its back and great stony plates emerging from its bones. The Tarrasque is often described as the most mild mannered of the God Beasts, its presence bringing bountiful crops and thriving wildlife. Though slow to anger, when this does happen the effects are catastrophic, causing earthquakes, fissures and avalanches large enough to raze entire cities to rubble. In modern times the Tarrasque is mostly observed by farmers, who may say a quick prayer to bless a new crop, as well as by druids and others who make their home in the wildlands of Dunyalem.
