Yakarti Caravan

The Yakarti Caravan is a thousands-strong trade caravan, operating primarily in the Western deserts of Djakalia. The Caravan started its history as the Yakarti Horde, a nomadic culture of raiders who attacked and pillaged the nations of Al-Dhorma and Zafka. This continued until the nation of Lungoya City became involved, helping the other nations to finally defeat the Horde. Following its defeat, some pragmatic members of the Horde used its remaining resources to reform as a trading group, using their ability to traverse the deserts of Djakalia to facilitate trade across the continent. In time, trade ships from Astarta arrived in Djakalia, opening the Caravan to international trade. Today, the Yakarti Caravan is the single largest trading group in Dunyalem. The leader of the Caravan is appointed by high-ranking members and, while not in an official position of counsel, holds influence with the Djakali Kingdom's monarch.
