Travellers and traders pray for the protection of Koull as they set out into the dangerous wilds, hoping she will watch over their journey. Adventurers and explorers seek her favour as they search out unseen corners of the world. Some have even claimed to encounter Koull in a mortal form on lonely roads, or when lost in the wilderness.
Koull was a mortal who ascended to godhood. The stories say she travelled to every corner of the Material Plane, just to look. She was raised to power upon her death, when she came before judgement. Despite her many travels, she said to Otlo - God of Judgement that she wished to see more of the realm. Otlo found her truthful and pure, and chose to raise her to power, that she might lead others by her example.
