Skorja Mankiller
The mother of Skorg, Skorja Mankiller is the only daughter and bodyguard of King Obould Many-Arrows. Ever the devoted daughter, she ensured the reign of the Obould Dynasty would not be hindered by upstarts and assassins. When King Obould allowed a human into his retinue, Vadrian El-Azrad, she was notably skeptical, but he impressed her with his skill in combat and his sharp tongue.
When she was ready to take the Trial of Bloodening, she requested Vadrian's presence as witness. For her trial, she slew a troop of bandits almost single-handedly, with Vadrian killing one she had neglected, saving her life. For this feat, she earned the deed name "Mankiller" and was announced by the elders as a marriageable orcess. Almost immediately, she claimed Vadrian as her husband, and together they raised Skorg.
Skorja knew if her son were to be king of the orcs, he would have be strong in ways beyond mere strength. To this end, she was a demanding mother, teaching Skorg how to fight as she had, one on one, with live weapons. The day Skorg took first blood in their training duels was the proudest moment of her life.
