The Raven Queen

The enigmatic Raven Queen is the Goddess of Death and ruler of the Shadowfell. She is a neutral deity focused on maintaining the natural order of life and death in the world. Her clerics are tasked with comforting people as they accept their deaths and punishing those who would flout the rules.
When Bourdekin attempted to resurrect her deceased mentor Vera, the Raven Queen stopped her. Intending to condemn her for her transgression, the goddess instead saw promise in the doctor and anointed her a Cleric of Death.
