History

The ghost of a long-dead adventure, Felix, the sole survivor of a group that attempted to kill the ruling council of Crypha. After death, he found his way to Athanor, becoming a close companion of an engineer named Briar, following along on her adventures for a time... until the day came that Kjæreste Coelum and The Eye murdered Briar. He did not seem to mind much at the loss of one friend as they were replaced with the shapeshifter Kjæreste. Felix grew close to Kjæreste, seeing them as just as much a friend as Briar was. He lived within their weapon and followed along as the CoW handed the situation around The Eye and the portals they were using to invade. After the world was saved, his friend Kjæreste went to space with their partner, and he commissioned a suit of armor from Athanor as payment for his aid. In the Cryphan Army's invasion of Winter Bloom, Felix's soul cage was discovered and destroyed by Luther Valentine's forces. His empty shell of armor collapsed, void of his presence, right as the Morninglight Company came upon The Eternal Church in search of Severine Creed and her kidnappers. As his anchor to the land of the living was destroyed, his soul sought out Kjæreste one last time. Kjæreste, after the final death of Felix, unwilling to accept his loss went to the now-deity Loeraica Dawn and asked for his help. After engaging in a long process to enter the world of the dead and locate Felix's soul, Kjar and Loer drug Felix's body from the pool he had begun to merge with and convinced him to search for a way to restore him. After diving further through death's belly to find a place where Felix could reconstruct himself and successfully completing a ritual to bond him to a body of his choosing, the three were found by Lumen and told before leaving they would need to speak with an authority of the realm. Bargaining with the oldest paragon of death for his return, a deal was struck where Felix was allowed to return to the world of the living, the gift of one of Kjæreste's own lives allowing him to fully live again. Should he or they ever again arrive at death's door, it will come for them instantly. But for now... now something far better awaits.
