The Living Mountain, The Lumbering Behemoth [Doh'n-gor-yah]

In the frigid Altaan Basin of southern Iqari, the mighty Dongorya enforces a certain way of life. While it spends years at a time hibernating, when the mood strikes it rises and marches in a seemingly random direction, crushing everything in its path without concern. After having their villages leveled by its implacable tramp, the people of the basin learned they can neither stop nor destroy the living mountain, and so have adopted a nomadic lifestyle. Many tribes camp around or even on the Dongorya when it rests, ever vigilant for signs of its stirring. And when it finally wakes, they follow the giant elemental, gathering materials they can use which it unearths or pulverizes in its march.
