The titakith of Iqari seem to only be found throughout the Ice-Crowned Range, a massive chain of mountains in southern Iqari, occasionally dipping down into the Altaan Basin when temperatures drop too low. There are rumors that a group of outcasts have gathered into a new tribe in Trast's Adamant Mountains.
Those Iqarian titakith seen living among the other races are only there for one of a few possible reasons: they were expelled from their tribe for putting it in danger or not carrying their weight, left voluntarily in search of something to aid the tribe, or are the offspring of one who never returned. The few nomadic tribes stick to high altitudes, and only rarely do any leave. Despite this, their body hair remains surprisingly thin and short. Instead, they’ve evolved a specialized layer of dense subcutaneous fat which keeps their high body temperatures contained. Thanks to their natural strength, most which find themselves mixed with the rest of civilization tend towards physical jobs: sailors, laborers, bodyguards, etc.
