Merla Greenleaf

An explorer from Zankor. Merla studied at the Arcane College of Zankor, and though she never mastered spellcasting, she did become a proficient enchantress. 
In the early summer of 589 PIC, she set out upon a hired ship named the Duckworth to search out any signs of lost civilization along the Serpent Archipelago. Some threat forced the ship to run aground and Merla was left adrift alone on the life raft. She was then found by The Trish, whose crew took her the rest of the way along their route up to Skipalon. There she is currently residing at Malachite Tower, and spends her time bouncing between the town's two libraries looking for leads for her next expedition.
