The Ruination

Upon another world whose name has been long forgotten, the gods bore witness to a war which would ravage the planet. Factions wielding divinely gifted magic destroyed each other, their homes, and their environments. Some of the deities picked sides and directly involved themselves in the conflict. Eventually, the races born there would be brought to the verge of extinction, and their civilizations burned down in apocalyptic fire. In an act of regret and desperation to preserve something of the world, the pantheon agreed to work together to carry out what would become known as The Seeding, after which they vowed to restrict themselves to The Supernal Realms and avoid direct interaction with mortals...
