Traston Titakith

DnD: Firbolgs

As allies of the wilds, the Titakith of Trast are naturally concentrated in the forests surrounding the northern half of the Heart of Trast. So rarely do they interact with the settlements around the lake that many folk believe the gentle giants to be either a myth or a type of fae spirit, and the tribes are quite content to keep it that way.   Their strong sense of community and affinity for nature leads these titakith to try to maintain a small population. The few who disagree with this mindset or who are born with a natural sense of curiosity often leave their tribes to explore the rest of the world, though will never tell an outsider where they came from for fear of putting their home and family at risk.   Traston titakith are relatively small compared to their cousins on the other continents. The thick hair across their bodies helps keep their movement through the forests quiet as protection from predators, and regulates their body temperatures under the constant shade from the thick canopies. They’re generally foragers and agriculturalists, living off of the land and rarely eating meat.
