NorThartica (nôr-THärt-i-kä)

NorThartica (sometimes called North Pole) is the Northern ice-continent. Like SorThartica, it is inhospitable to most forms of life. While there have been attempts to colonize NorThartica in the past, it was deemed unworthy of the efforts since there are very little natural resources and close to no plant life. Most of NorThartica is unexplored.
Most historians and linguists believe "Nor" and "Thartica" are clearly ancient words for "North" and "Arctic" respectively.
