SorThartica (sôr-THärt-i-kä)

SorThartica (sometimes called South Pole) is the southern ice-continent. Like NorThartica, it is inhospitable to most forms of life. While there have been attempts to colonize SorThartica in the past, it was deemed unworthy of the efforts since there are very little natural resources and close to no plant life. Most of SorThartica is unexplored.
Most historians and linguists believe "Sor" and "Thartica" are clearly ancient words for "South" and "Arctic" respectively.
