Climate
Epera has four seasons that vary in length and are not inherently tied to the calendar year.
Winter. On average lasts about 89 days. Longest winter on record: 426 days
Spring. On average lasts about 92 days. Longest spring on record: 409 days
Summer. On average lasts about 94 days. Longest summer on record: 401 days
Autumn. On average lasts about 90 days. Longest autumn on record: 505 days
Sometimes a season stretches for over a year, others it passes briefly.
Long winters bring famine and all-day darkness, but short winters increase pests/rodents.
Long springs bring bountiful harvests and new life, but short springs cause meager crops and shortages.
Long summers bring drought and the midnight sun, whereas short summers give crops a chance to survive into the fall.
Long autumns bring bumper crops, whereas short autumns prevent wildlife from preparing for the winter.
