Parvyrynth (a.k.a. The White Protector)

Personal history

Legend has it that Parvyrynth was alive for even the Arcane Spark, which itself was a millennium before the founding of The Xentis Empire. It is said the tundra that is the northern peninsula of the island is untouched because those foolish enough to attempt to scar his territory met an early grave.   When Mera Xentis forcefully brought the island under the banner of one empire, White Death was at his side, causing many to surrender, though even more thought the alliance was a bluff. Those doubters didn't live to regret their choice.   Because Parvyrynth spends most of his time sleeping, there were those that doubted his lifespan could last so long. Four hundred years ago, he would be awoken by the reigning emperor, as the mostly dormant sect of undead that had lived on the island before the Empire had launched a powerful offensive against the Empire. Vampires, liches, and more were slaughtering citizens wholesale. In less than two days after being awoken, Parvyrynth drove the undead into a tiny island off of the western coast. This earned him the title "Butcher of Vladania."   Later, the emperor would address his people and asked Parvyrynth if he wanted to say anything, to which he startlingly responded:
Don't give him a reason to wake me up unless you want the whole kingdom destroyed.
The Royal Family has always treated him with respect and taken care of him. In return, he does not prey on the Empire's citizens and, very infrequently, may intercede against great threats. These intercessions tend to be indiscriminate and cause massive collateral damage.
