Tillard Erzling

Tillard Erzling was one of the few universal geniuses of our time on Elaqitan. He didn't wow us with magic, but his abilities were magical in other ways.

Athril II, Prince of Êvârica in memory of Tillard Erzling's 100th anniversary of his death

Tillard Clemgid Erzling was born on 10 Mirtâdi 1,975 AEC in Oerles on Brictaelgis as the son of an Âdocôdix - Goblin and an Idangi. As a mixed race, he never really belonged anywhere. His skin was too green for humans and not green enough for goblins. His ears were either too pointed or not long enough. He was too small for humans and, of course, far too large for goblins to be considered beautiful in their respective worlds.

So Tillard learned early on that he had to do more to be accepted. After the Initiation rite of the Âdocôdix, which he only passed sufficiently because he could not absorb enough earth magic, he left his village and went into the world. He traveled the lands of Elaqitan, studied the flora and fauna, learned the art of invention on Idaka and described all religions with their gods, myths and legends. He was a gifted artist who modeled for several high-ranking personalities. Many of his paintings hang in palaces, his treatises fill libraries, and his inventions are in use throughout Elaqitan.
