Belial

The Insatiable One

Belial is Lord of Phlegethos, The Fourth Level of Hell and Archdevil of Gluttony. Belial's story could be called the most horrifying and saddest of the Archdevil's stories. Despite his current appearance as an insatiable Leviathan of a monster Belial was not always like this, once a mighty Ki-rin and the battle mount and trusted battle partner of Samuel he lead his own forces in combat with a grace and humility. But when he was gravely wounded in battle and he and his men trapped behind enemy lines with little to no supplies they forced to make do to the point that Belial gave up parts of himself to feed his men and made do with little for himself. But at Samuel's trial Belial was accused of being the one who had eaten his own soldier and the flesh of demons, spurred as nothing more than a filthy animal. Events of trial were the thing that broke this Ki-rin's back, the hunger that he ignored and pushed down since the incident raged forth as he became exactly what they had called him, A Beast. Even now only Samuel, now Satan, can control him his own devils simply feeding their master the food he never recived and was accused of have partaken in.
