Cursed Diseases
Even in the world of E'ven-dra disease happens though with divine and nature magic most mundane diseases are cared for with little issue. The diseases that truly haunt most peoples dreams are not fears of the flue or some mundane viral outbreak. No, what people fear are when diseases like the flue or the black death break out and they mix with something of the Arcane or otherwise.
A coursed disease is rather straight forward and to the point. They are either a disease that has been mutated by a Magical effect, an actual curse, Arcane evocation, Divine retribution, Occult necromancy or Natures wrath, who knows. But for what ever reason the disease has been forever changed, made truly dangerous by the Magical force that has empowered it. A perfect example of this is Rasputin's Death Curse from The Everlight, Paretel's stories that ravaged Albion. This was a diseases that Rasputin had magically modified using Evocation and Transmutation magics and made near impossible to cure without high level healing Magics. In other words a diseases that still acts like a diseases but has been made stronger by Magics.
The other side of this a Curse or other Magical effect that is created and acts like a diseases once unleashed. Because it presents itself like a diseases most think nothing of it till it is to late. Doctors may spend weeks trying to find cures and other medical treatments only to realize it really is Magical when it may be to late. Unfortunately because these are so rare their are few examples that can be given here for the few that are known are part of a category onto themselves.

As of now there are three great Cursed Diseases that still make people fearful, however it is with some luck that 2 of them are contained, and unfortunately the other only effect a specific group of people.
