Firbolg

A sub race of lessor Giants mostly found in the wooded areas of the world. Like all giants the Firbolg’s ancestral lands are the southern pole of the world. But were among the first to migrate from their home land mostly due to their more genteel nature and smaller stature when compared to others of their kind.
Some legends claim that the firbolg race were the predecessors to the ogres. In these legends it says that the ogres were firbolg captured and tortured by The Defiler, Fathneir. Forcing them to perform horrible acts of brutality, all to turn them into weapons to be used. Otherwise firbolg show a great love of nature and the natural world.
It is perhaps because of this love and affinity for nature that draws them to places were nature and the natural are fundamentally important to the native peoples. Places like Cuveisa, particularly in Cohn and Sue.

Growth Rate & Stages

Firbolg tend to live between 90-130 years, maturing and aging at ruffly the same rate as humans. Reaching full maturity at about 18-20 years of age and being considered adults around the same time. Though many do not leave home unless they feel they need to, meaning that many firbolg remain with many generations of their own kind. Often becoming druids & rangers depending on the clans needs. However some firbolg can have a case of wanderlust, often believed to be sign from the All Father of Giants, that it is time for them to start a new clan or perhaps another clan is in need of that firbolg.
