Kenku
Kenku are kenku not much more can be said about them that hasn't already been said so we will cut to chase on them for the purposes of E'ven-dra. Kenku originate like all Avan in the same origin story with one small cavoite and it is why they cannot fly.
Acording to legend ages after the first Avan found their way to the plane of wind and learned to deal with the Djinn hunting them some Avan actually turned on the rest of the brethren. Selling them out to Djinn hunters and traders and profiting off it. As for how they lost their wings, well their some debate. Some scholars say that the aven in their anger cursed the Kenku and the descendants stripping them of their wings and casting them from the skies for their transgressions against their aven brothers and sisters. Other legends say the Quetza saw what they did ripped the wings from backs or caused them to shrivel and fall off. While darker tales tell of them selling their wings to Djinn who in turn sawed the wings off but let them live. Either way it is a known fact that Kenku are the youngest of the Avan species.
Unlike other Avan, kenku have no real place they call home as the origins are the most shrouded in mystery though Vei seems to bost the largest population so may b e fair to say that many may trace their lineage back to there. Like Garuda kenku are very much bird people that still very much look like bird people. However, and this may be do to the removal of the wings, predatorial birds or raptors have been seen to appear as Kenku.

Basic Information
Growth Rate & Stages
Most Kenku only live about 60-65 years and reach full maturity at around 13-14. Age Int at about the same rate as a normal human and are considered adults at around 17-18. Their are some scholars that believe their shorter life span comes from the curse that took their wings.
