These are exactly what they sound like. The Colleges like the Conclave believe magic is not meant to be some mysterious force that only the chosen few should be able to learn. But as the nature of most Bards, they see its purpose is a means to an end to increase one’s own status. Because of this the magic of these schools is there for those who can afford to pay for it.
