Logistics

Recruitment

In order to start the training one must first have been a city guard in Liessteig for two years and must have a clean record.

There are no restrictions when it comes to species, but most are either human, dwarves or elves, due to the local demographics. While females are in theory allowed into the unit, only two have ever done it and they did so with distinction.

History

When the population of Liessteig grew beyond 1000 people, the decision was made to create and maintain a unit of professional soldiers who were capable of securing the keep that was being built as the kings seat.
