Sigrunn was born in the small town of Mainin, but both parents died, leaving only very few memories of themselves in Sigrunn's mind.

With nowhere to go, she started wandering from house to house, living with whomever would take care of her. This went on for quite some time until a local cleric took her in at age four.

There she was raised in the service of Torm, becoming an acolyte at the local temple. Soon it became clear that Sigrunn would make an excellent force in the fight against evil and she started training to become a warrior. She did so side by side with a friend, Urle she had made while living in the temple.

At one point they were out together training in the woods outside of the town, when Goblins sprung a surprise attack on them, which ended up killing Urle. Sigrunn managed to get back to the temple alive, but wowed that day to destroy the evil that ended his friend's life.
