Ealdwyll is a massive world. It spans many continents and oceans. If you want to discover Ealdwyll and it's inhabitants, learning about it's nations and continents can be a great place to start. Below you will find links to each section along with a small description.
Ghynzua is the largest nation on Ealdwyll. Their territory takes up most of the East Eghean continent. The Empire is led by a long line of Empresses tracing back to the original founder who took the first steps to the nation we see today.
The Clans of East Eghea used to be spread over large parts of the continent. Until their differences with Ghynzua drove them further and further north. Many view them as warmongering savages, but there is a lot more to their culture than people realise.
After The PulseWest Eghea became one of the most inhospitable places on Ealdwyll. This led to the rise of eight massive walled cities. Seven of them were built around ancient towers from a time long ago. The agelessness of these towers allowed the people of these cities a glimps into knowledge and technology which had been lost due to the Pulse.
Ippah is an island southwest of Ghynzua. It is famous for its medical university and facilities. In particular the ancient ageless buildings found on the island are known in almost all parts of the world. It is believed that they were built by the Forgotten in an era long before the Pulse, and have contributed a great deal towards the medical knowledge people have today.
West Eghea was once the epicenter of a cataclysm that drove humanity to near extinction. Now, over three-thousand years later, humans have recovered and thrive in colossal walled cities to keep themselves safe from The Inflicted who roam the lands of West Eghea. Despite the dangers though these cities have grown throughout time and many of them see their immigrant population grow every year.
East Eghea is the second half of the eghean landmass. Only connected to West Eghea through the Lindiwa Mountain Range travel over land between the two continents is virtually impossible. Instead the two continents developed several major marine trade routes which connect all the important ports on both continents. Most of the East Eghean territory belongs to Ghynzua. While only the most northern regions are still in the hands of the Northern Clans.
They might not be a continent per se, but Ealwyll's Oceans harbor just as many interesting discoveries as its lands. Pirates, sharks and massive sea creatures form a treat to anyone venturing out across the seas. Still, trade routes receive much traffic during most of the year. And if that is not enough to peak your interest then Grakkal's Gate might. After all, it is not everyday one gets to witness a massive hole in the ocean.
