Fort Purk

Fort Purk is one of Cleft City’s most important settlements. It is a specifically military outpost meant to train warriors and be ready to go to the aid of any surrounding villages and protect the southern end of the World Cleft when needed.

Demographics

Most of the population are split into two groups: farmers and military men. Although the inhabitants are mostly men, there are only a few races that are not allowed into the fortress due to risks of disorganization, mobs, or spies. Birdmen, Shapechangers, and Limrods.

Defences

This settlement is protected by a large outer trench which is spanned by a raising bridge which is guarded by two towers on the outer side of the trench. Right behind the trench there is a 40 foot stone wall with several small towers built into its sides and a complicated system of passages including archery slits.

Assets

Because of this settlement’s highly military focus, it has a strong supply of weapons, armor, and mounts. It has a strong guard and archery force.
