The Enclosure

The Enclosure is the unofficial name given by the people to the city walls of Wrun Valley. Its composed of two parts: The Eritria Wall, to the North; and the Eoland Wall, to the South. Its height stands between 20 meters and 50 variating along the way with the terrain. Its typically 7 or 8 meters wide, except on the towers where it may be between 12 and 20 meters wide.

Architecture

Its a Brick Gothic styled wall with small firing towers, filled with archery port-holes, every 75 meters. How ever every Third is replaced by a larger, ballista ready tower. In both sides, where the wall meets the walls of the valley a Garrison building is built into it. There the watchmen of the Royal Guard live, eat and train. The entrances to the city are built in an arch style with heavy metal gates and small garrison buildings.

History

The Enclosure surrounds the entire city, and protects all its citizens from bandits and invasion, it was built by order of King Rolland II. Construction started on year 800 and finished on year 823.
