Museo de Arqueología y Antropología

The museum is a recent addition to the campus. While the university was founded in 1551, making it the oldest seat of higher learning in the Americas, the museum was only opened in 1919.

Architecture

The museum is housed in a long, two-story stone building, painted dark yellow, fronted by the University Park.
