Earth-6190-19

History

Pre-Divergence

Earth-6190-19's pre-history closely parallels that of Earth-616, the main Marvel Universe. It encompasses the existence of multiple incarnations of the universe, triggered by multiversal renewal events. While most of these incarnations remain shrouded in mystery, the seventh incarnation is the most well-known.

In the seventh incarnation, Earth-6190-19 is populated by various races and civilizations, including the emergence of powerful beings such as the Celestials, Knull, and Galactus. The Celestials conduct experiments on humanity's ancestors, resulting in the creation of races like the Eternals and Deviants, as well as the genetic potential for super-powered beings. The Kree also perform experiments, giving rise to the highly evolved race of Inhumans.

Throughout history, Earth-6190-19 experiences the rise and fall of great civilizations, legendary heroes, and the emergence of superhumans. The events of World War II introduce the first super-powered costumed heroes like Captain America, Namor the Sub-Mariner, and the Human Torch. However, the age of superheroes truly begins to take shape in more recent times, with the emergence of characters like Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and the X-Men.

It's important to note that the cataclysmic events and the involvement of Galactus, as well as the subsequent emergence of the Herald Revenants, have reshaped Earth-6190-19's history and likely have significant implications on its pre-history, altering the course of events and the development of civilizations in response to the ongoing struggle against Galactus.

Post-Divergence

After the cataclysmic events involving Galactus on Earth-6190-19, significant historical events unfolded. The heroes of Earth-6190-19 united to confront Galactus but were unable to defeat him entirely. Instead, Galactus fragmented into what became known as the Herald Revenants, beings tasked with completing Galactus' quest to consume the planet.

The Herald Revenants began infecting the planet's occupants, turning them into new Herald Revenants and spreading their destructive influence. Many of Earth's mightiest heroes perished in the conflict, leaving only a handful of known survivors. These include Sabretooth, the Fantastic Four (Sue Storm, Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm), and the X-Men (Ororo Monroe, Logan, Forge, and Hank McCoy).

The surviving heroes faced the ongoing threat of the Herald Revenants and the gradual consumption of the planet. Meanwhile, the tensions between the remaining X-Men and the Fantastic Four, now referred to as the Frightful Four, continued to grow. Additionally, a falling-out occurred between Forge and his former teammates, leading to his ex-communication from the X-Men.

The desolate landscape of Earth-6190-19 was plagued by cosmic storms resulting from the turmoil and destruction caused by the cataclysmic events. Within this harsh environment, Wolverine (formerly Logan) and Sabretooth (formerly Victor Creed) transformed into aggressive, monstrous versions of themselves, engaging in relentless combat across the devastated Earth.

These historical events reflect the struggle for survival and the ongoing battle against the Herald Revenants, as the remaining heroes strive to protect what is left of their shattered world and find a way to reclaim their planet from the clutches of Galactus' legacy.

New York

The cityscape has been altered in profound ways, and the remnants of the destruction are evident throughout. Here is a description of how New York currently looks in this alternate reality:

New York City now resembles a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Skyscrapers that once stood tall are now crumbling structures, with broken windows, collapsed facades, and twisted metal. The city's infrastructure has been severely damaged, leaving behind a landscape of ruin and decay.

The streets of New York are littered with debris and remnants of destruction. Piles of rubble, overturned vehicles, and scattered remnants of buildings create a hazardous and chaotic environment. The once bustling streets are now eerie and desolate, with few signs of life.

In the absence of human presence, nature has started to reclaim parts of the city. Vines and foliage creep up the sides of buildings, reclaiming the urban landscape. Overgrown vegetation fills the cracks in the pavement, giving a sense of nature's persistence amidst the ruins.

Among the ruins, small pockets of survivors have formed makeshift settlements. These communities are comprised of survivors who have banded together for safety and support. Makeshift shelters, constructed from salvaged materials, can be found scattered throughout the city as people try to rebuild their lives amidst the devastation.

Electricity and utilities are scarce in this post-invasion New York. Darkened streets and buildings without power further add to the desolation and sense of abandonment. The once vibrant city now exists in a state of darkness and isolation.

The cataclysmic events have caused unpredictable anomalies and dangers in the city. Reality itself may be unstable, leading to pockets of distorted space, temporal fluctuations, or other unexplainable phenomena. Venturing through the city becomes a treacherous endeavor, as the environment itself poses threats to survivors.

Despite the devastation, symbols of resilience and hope can still be found in New York. Government

In the aftermath of the cataclysmic events that nearly destroyed Earth-6190-19, the existing governments collapsed, leaving no centralized governing body in power. The catastrophic events likely caused widespread destruction and societal breakdown, resulting in the dissolution of established systems and institutions.

Without a functioning government, the survivors of Earth-6190-19 are left to fend for themselves in a harsh and unforgiving world. They must rely on their own resourcefulness, ingenuity, and collective efforts to ensure their survival and rebuild their lives. The absence of a governing authority means that the survivors have the freedom to determine their own paths and form their own communities, alliances, and systems of governance based on their specific circumstances and values. It is a time of uncertainty and exploration, as the remnants of humanity navigate the challenges of a post-apocalyptic existence without the traditional structures of government in place.

Industry & Trade

In the post-apocalyptic world of Earth-6190-19, industry and trade take on a different form compared to the pre-cataclysmic era. With the collapse of centralized governments and traditional economic systems, the focus shifts towards local and decentralized forms of production and exchange.

They prioritize the preservation of human heritage and strive to maintain a sense of identity and continuity in the post-apocalyptic world.

These guilds and factions often have their own codes, hierarchies, and territories, with varying levels of cooperation or rivalry between them. While some factions aim to rebuild and restore civilization, others prioritize survival, exploration, or self-interest. The interactions and alliances between these groups shape the dynamics of Earth-6190-19, influencing the distribution of resources, the formation of alliances, and the conflicts that arise in this harsh new world.

History

In Earth-6190-19, life proceeded much like our own reality until the year 2019, when an extraordinary event changed the course of history. The superheroes of the Marvel Universe, though slightly different from their counterparts in Earth-616, existed and protected the planet. However, this all changed with the arrival of the Silver Surfer, a cosmic scout for the world devourer Galactus.

The Silver Surfer warned the Avengers of Earth-6190-19 about Galactus' imminent invasion and departed. Realizing the grave threat they faced, the Avengers prepared to defend their planet, but their efforts ultimately proved futile. In a desperate attempt to find aid, Hawkeye (Clint Barton) discovered a method to traverse dimensions and journeyed to Earth-618, seeking the assistance of heroes from that universe, including the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men.

Understanding the impending danger that would eventually reach Earth-618, the Hawkeye of that reality negotiated a deal with Galactus, receiving the Power Cosmic and transforming into the new Silver Surfer. This newly empowered hero, known as the Cosmic Archer, returned to Earth-6190-19 to protect it from Galactus. Despite his valiant efforts, Galactus could not be stopped.

In the ensuing battle, the heroes of Earth-6190-19 fought against Galactus, but the outcome was disastrous. Galactus was fragmented into what became known as the Herald Revenants, entities tasked with carrying out his mission to consume the planet. As the Herald Revenants progressed, they infected the planet's inhabitants, turning them into new Herald Revenants with similar powers.

Tragically, many of Earth-6190-19's beloved heroes perished in the conflict, leaving only a handful to carry on. Survivors include Sabretooth, the remaining members of the Fantastic Four (Sue Storm, Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm), and the X-Men (Ororo Monroe, Logan, Forge, and Hank McCoy). However, Logan and Victor Creed (Sabretooth) underwent a mutation caused by the subsequent Cosmic Storms, becoming the aggressive and monstrous Wolverine and Sabretooth.

Tensions have arisen among the survivors. The X-Men, Ororo and Hank, now harbor distrust towards the Fantastic Four, referring to them as the Frightful Four. Additionally, a falling out between Forge and the X-Men has led to his estrangement from the team.

In this desolate and chaotic landscape, the remaining heroes of Earth-6190-19 struggle to survive, protect the remnants of humanity, and find a way to reverse the effects of Galactus' invasion. Amidst internal divisions, strained relationships, and the relentless threat of the Herald Revenants, they face a daunting task of uniting and restoring hope in a world shattered by cosmic forces.

The climate can abruptly shift from scorching heat to freezing temperatures, leaving little time for adaptation and preparation.

  • Ecological Imbalances: The devastation caused by Galactus' invasion has disrupted ecosystems and ecological balances, resulting in the proliferation of mutated creatures and plant life. Unusual and aggressive species now roam the planet, posing additional threats to the survivors.

  • Scarce Resources: The climate's instability has led to the depletion of natural resources, including clean water sources and fertile land. Finding and securing essential resources has become an ongoing challenge for the survivors, forcing them to resort to innovative methods of conservation and adaptation.

  • Volatile Atmospheric Conditions: The planet's atmosphere has been affected by the cosmic disturbances caused by Galactus, leading to increased radiation levels and atmospheric anomalies. This radiation exposure poses health risks to the remaining population and requires protective measures to avoid its detrimental effects.

  • Widespread Devastation: Large regions of Earth-6190-19 have been reduced to barren wastelands, with ruined cities, decimated landscapes, and toxic environments. The planet's climate reflects the aftermath of widespread destruction, further complicating survival efforts.

Adapting to the erratic and hostile climate of Earth-6190-19 is a constant struggle for the survivors. They must navigate extreme weather conditions, contend with scarce resources, and withstand the ever-present dangers posed by the mutated creatures that now inhabit the planet.

Natural Resources

After the cataclysmic events that nearly destroyed the planet, Earth-6190-19 has seen a significant depletion of its natural resources. However, some resources still exist, while new ones have emerged due to the altered environment. Here are some examples:

Water Sources: Despite the scarcity of clean water, there are still pockets of natural water sources that have remained relatively unaffected. These include underground aquifers, freshwater lakes, and rivers that have managed to survive the devastation. However, accessing and purifying these water sources is a constant challenge.

Scavenged Supplies: One of the primary sources of resources for the survivors is scavenging from the remains of destroyed infrastructure. They salvage materials from abandoned buildings, factories, and other structures, repurposing them for various needs such as shelter, tools, and weapons.

Flora and Fauna: The altered environment of Earth-6190-19 has given rise to new forms of mutated plant life and wildlife. While some of these organisms pose dangers, they can also provide resources. Certain mutated plants may have medicinal properties or be suitable for food, while mutated creatures can be hunted for meat and used for other purposes.

Renewable Energy: With the scarcity of traditional energy sources, the survivors have turned to alternative methods of generating power. They harness solar energy through improvised solar panels and utilize wind or hydroelectric power where possible. These renewable energy sources help provide electricity for essential tasks and equipment.

Salvaged Technology: Despite the widespread destruction, remnants of advanced technology from the pre-cataclysm era can still be found. The survivors salvage and repurpose functional technology, such as communication devices, generators, and weapons, to meet their needs and improve their chances of survival.

Minerals and Ores: Though mining operations have been severely disrupted, there are still underground deposits of minerals and ores that can be accessed. These resources, such as iron, copper, and rare earth metals, are valuable for repairing and manufacturing equipment and can be traded among survivors.

While the availability of natural resources on Earth-6190-19 is limited and often challenging to obtain, the survivors employ resourcefulness and adaptability to make the most of what remains and explore new possibilities in their post-cataclysmic world.
