Mephisto's begins to amass souls for his Six-Year Army; named after the time period dedicated to amassing these souls.

In the years leading up to the Red Serpent Rising, the demonic entity Mephisto took advantage of the deep-seated fear and prejudice against gamma mutates following The Gamma Detonation. He orchestrated the amassing of souls for his Six-Year Army by exploiting the anti-gamma sentiment that swept the world. Every gamma mutate who perished during this time period had their souls sent to Mephisto's realm, where they were absorbed into his ranks, fueling his dark power and exponentially increasing his control. With each passing year, Mephisto's army of demons grew stronger and more formidable, setting the stage for his ultimate goal of conquering the world and spreading chaos and destruction during the Red Serpent Rising.
