Àstina
The Lover, the Wife, the Narcissist
Divine Domains
She is the goddess of love, lust and weddings. She is also young girls' patron saint and is linked to women's beauty in general.
Artifacts
Àstina's Tiara has three rubies on it : one for lust, one for love and one for purity.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Àstina is often represented as a beautiful half-naked woman holding roses and pomegranates, surrounded by white doves.
Roses symbolize secrets and, by extension, out of wedlock relationships, which are linked to lust. Pomegranates are also linked to sexuality but in terms of fertility, which makes them very popular at weddings. As for doves, they represent the purity of young girls.
Holidays
A part of coming-of-age ceremonies and weddings are dedicated to her. She is mainly celebrated during the Àstadays.
Mental characteristics
Sexuality
As the goddess of love and sexuality, she doesn't care about any, her own or someone else's, lover's gender. She doesn't mind anyone, really.
Intellectual Characteristics
She is arrogant and believes herself to be the most beautiful goddess. She is also power-hungry and is a scheming woman who knows how to take advantage of her looks and her sexuality. She knows how to manipulate others through what they desire the most. As a result, she often lacks empathy for others.
She has a tendency to get bored easily.
Morality & Philosophy
She has a shady morality. She doesn't care about anyone but herself, yet she can be found to do the right thing sometimes.
Taboos
Her only taboo is about children. She can't stand predators and believes children should have absolutely nothing to do with sexuality.
