Darren Thompson

Darren is one of the oldest faculty members in CU, but because of his cyborg body, he doesn't age anymore. He's the head of the technology department, and engineers lots of gadgets for students and even other pro heroes.
When he does hero work he's known as Dynamo, and because of his flexibility he's called in to do many jobs that range between villain capture and civilian rescue.

Personal history

Darren joined the war effort when turned 18 years old and ended up losing most of his body from a metahuman that created nuclear explosions. He was found barely alive by Myles Rapa, who brought him back to a hospital where they managed to stabilize him. They decided to try and save his life with the new Cybermail technology, and it ended up working. It took some time, but eventually Darren accepted his new body, and chose to try and better the world that had been left in ruins by teaching at Champion University.
