Mars

In 2066, the first manned mission on Mars happened. They set up human colonies and discovered Martians.
Currently there are about 2 million humans living on Mars in 3 primary domed cities. The largest domed city is called Genesis. The second largest is called Eden, and the last one is called Corinth.
There are about 200 million martians living on Mars, with about 90% of them living under ground and serving the Queen and her advisors. The other 10% all live above ground and are nomadic people. This came about over 2000 years ago because the Royal family used to consist of 2 main houses until they had a feud and a civil war broke out. The houses were; House S'imms, and House T'ric. The result was that House T'ric was banished above ground to die in the wasteland. However, some of the family and their people managed to survive and adapt, becoming almost a different species of Martian.
Martians don't have any livestock, so therefore didn't eat much meat until humans brought their own livestocks to the domed cities. Instead, Martians ate plants that were able to grow deep underground, such as Rockcarrots and Savoroots. They also later on made something called a Mars bar, which is a mixture of both that are blended together.
