The One is powered by the sun, and the closer to Noon the stronger he becomes. He wields an axe that only he can wield. He's the leader of a hero group called the Seven Deadly Sins, who operate in Neo City. He's also known as the Lion Sin of Pride.
He debuted after he graduated from high school in 2138. The One quickly rose up the pro hero leaderboard, and within 3 years achieved the #2 spot behind Psychelock.
