Description
Herdbowl is a game among the
Yelentsi people, as well as the
Rhyders. Two teams of players ride mounts and attempt to herd a goat or sheep into the opponent's pins, with the goal being to knock them all down. A variation of the game sometimes involves two goats, requiring both offensive and defensive team capabilities. Teams are typically four to sixteen players, involving people from all roles in tribal life and all ages. Contact between players results in the game pausing, as well as a penalty, and harming the sheep or goat results in disqualification from the game.
